You pay $800 a year in filing fees if to maintain an LLC in California. Almost all other states are $200 or less, some don't charge anything. I don't understand how CA can still be broke when they charge so much in taxes and nickel and diming people.

Johnny makes a million dollars a year selling fresh tigers milks to the people in his community. It is a hot commodity because tigers milk is generally believed to give people special Chi powers. However Johhny took on $980,000 in equipment and hiring new employees to help run his tiger milk business. On top of that Johnny just purchsed a 1 million dollar home, a Lotus Esprit and a brand new catamaran. Do you see where I am headed here? Well apply that to the fools in government all across this nation of ours. When will we get it, we have been fleeced for the last 30 yrs by those we have entrusted public office too.

Some of us think that falling property values are a very, very good thing. Lower property taxes, prices in line with the area's low incomes, and the devastation of flippers and Mc Mansion builders is the icing on the cake. There is simply no downside to falling property values for those of us who would like to stay here and enjoy a higher standard of living due to more money in our pockets.

Very good point here. This is an extremely painful time for so many. But hopefully when we come out of this thing things will be more realistic and there will be controls put in place to control the risky real estate doings.

Yes, I totally understand that. But as a native looking to relocate, possibly out of the state, I cant sell my house. And others who are looking to return to NY/NJ/wherever, they may foreclose if they dont think they can sell their house for what they need to.

Believe me, if I loved FL the way I did when I was a kid, I'd be all about lower home prices. If I could sell my home, I would love for the family and friends I have here in FL to be able to buy a nice house for cheaper than what they are now.
