I like Florida, but, like many who have lived here a long time, do not like a lot of the things that have changed over the years. But the same thing can be said about any area of the country; no place is perfect. I do think most of us will agree that life here is never dull, and I can't say that about anyplace else I've lived.

I definitely like Florida. There are so many positives about it~the beach, the awesome ocean, Seaworld, Disney, the Space Center, etc. And you don't have cold weather or snow.

I like FL, but I miss how good it used to be. It is headed towards a sad and depressing demise due to overbuilding and greed form companies (insurance and home builders).

FL is beautiful, but it is the dangonned outsiders (aliens, Katrina people, and New Englanders) that mess it up.

Because of that, I have to say "no.

I rather vote for a "like some things and hate others" option.

eh, not so much...

used to like it before the explosion of people and building. Way too overcrowded now.

For the most part i dislike it here now, but some days i DO hate it lol

I don't think Florida is what I was thinking it would be. We have come here for a few years and it was great. Now that we moved here its not so good. we can't wait to move ! Cape Coral was a bad area but we were sold from all the BS. I don't hate Florida its great for a week or two.

No, what it does is put into perspective all of these "Why all the negativity???" threads and highlights the fact that the board is overwhelmingly positive toward the state.

I personally voted negative, though put me in the "I dislike" category, not "hate"....

I LIKE Florida. I have a lot of issues with Florida, specifically growth management and unchecked immigration (not migration from other states though) problems, along with a lack of good governance at the local levels.

But that doesn't change the feeling you get when you're walking along the beach while your friends and family up North are complaining about snowstorms in mid-April!
