No rights unless you are a white male! you gotta be kidding me! Let us know when you are finished with "college" and grow up alittle how you feel.

I suppose it is a white males fault that you are miserable and unhappy?

From reading your other post you have allot of hate built up, I hope you do not blame that on others too.

I would like to see your opinion once you "earn" your college degree and become a successful young person, or if you do not finish who would be the blame for it, then I will listen to your opinions.

I hope you choose to finish college and become a successful person, there are no roadblocks stopping you from doing so, unless of course you create them yourself.
lol you took my post very very much for more than what its meant to be. maybe i should of used a better choice of words.

i think youre seeing my post as saying that im being oppressed, which is far from truth

what i mean is IN MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE alot of the racism that i encounter is from the older florida natives from that era. i use the example of the 50's and 60's because back then segregation in this part of florida was alot more common and socially acceptable than it is today. or am i wrong about that? if i am please correct me

im not blaming any specific race or group for anything. once again i just used the "white male" thing as an example.

my apologies if i offended anyone. or came off as somebody claiming to be oppressed..

as far as college goes ive had my associates degree since i was 19 and i will have my bachelors within a year and half.

not bad for a 20 year old

would be kinda hard to do that if i was being oppressed lol, i have hatred for nobody in my heart

I can't agree with you more. I don't know why people stereotype because every person who has ever commited a crime against me has been white.

You know ever race has people who are racist. Last week, two african-american people came to my door (selling something), but I don't open my door to people I don't know. White, black, hispanic, asian, tall, short, skinny, tall, what ever, I just don't open the door. Yet I was labeled a racist by these two african-americans (who have never met me) because I would not open the door. Obviously they are not from Miami, and didn't understand the cops have told residents to not open the door to people you don't know. Unfortunatley this is an example that racism is still is part of all races.

Just because I do not choose to live by them doesn't mean I do not like them, that is your words and of course as usual it is getting read into because that is what you want to hear........ If I did answer that from my heart you would only twist it into something of a normal hate type thing.

Personal Preference is NOT a racial issue.
I have to agree with Floridabound....Where you choose to live is not a racial thing. Do you call "Little Havana" in Miami a bunch of racists, or "Greek Town" in Tarpon Springs a bunch of racists. How come when a group of white people prefer to live together it is because they are racist? Maybe it has more to do with culture than color.

i was disgusted, but i chose to be the bigger person and walk away. not to mention that the similar way some of the local police are known to treat minorities would probably automatically place me in jail had she called them.

all in all, most of the racism youll encounter is from the people who were here before the large influx of people from other areas. theyre still very much living in "old dixie" and expect the world to remain the same as it was in the 60s.
when you didnt have any rights unless you were a white male.
I agree with you 100%. I live in Ft. Myers too and I think there is more racism from the whites that have lived there since the 50's and 60's than anyone else. If you're black or hispanic they just simply don't want you there! I'm not saying all people from the 50's and 60's are like that, I'm saying that most people that think that way have been there since the 50's and 60's

atleast somebody understood what i meant lol.

again, not all people from that era have been that way, ive meet plenty of nice older people here

but the bulk of the not-so-nice ones, happen to be from that era aswell

I've lived most of my life throughout Florida and haven't been in heavy Asian populations, so would pull them from your list and it would then be mine. I would add Latinos from some countries against Latinos from others (ie- Chileans, Puerto Ricans, etc. looking down on Cubans)

1 - People from Japan (not japanese-americans)
2 - Older white people....say 55+
3 - Asians (all ages), wow was this an eye opener when I got to college.
4 - Young Redneck White Males
5 - Young Black Males(If you talk general intolerance by including gays....they move up higher...throw in attitudes towards women and you are fighting for the #2 spot)
6 - Whites <55
7 - Latinos, older blacks, female blacks

I understand. But it is made by a Latin company. They have different labels for the same product, selling to several markets.

I have lived in Florida my whole life aside from moving to St. Louis 2 years ago for college. Trust me, FL is a very understanding and accepting place compared to Missouri.
