Any Northerners or MidWesterners have any good recommendations for automobile transport/move companies to get a car to FLA? Running into a lot of problems finding someone I am comfortable with. Thanks!

I am looking at transporting a car from Boston to Fort Meyers and returning another car back to Boston. I will be interested in any advice that comes by also.

They have those services that use a driver to take your car to another state. Stay away from them. I personally know of two times when the driver took off with the car, went on a vacation, and left it in a third state.

Have you tried Craig's List? This is a compilation of services that have been found to be tried and true. Google it and check it out.

He wants to be the driver I think. I have driven cars all over the country for drive away companies, it's fun. The only problem is you have to be sure they pay for the gas. Some just start you with one tank and thats it. At todays prices that not such a good deal. Your right though, they make the people shipping the car think they have only collage graduates driving the cars but the truth is, they will give the cars to any bum.

When I had the pool room one of my customers would take drive away cars that were full of the peoples possessions like golf clubs and so on and not return the car. He would sell everything and drive the car for a few months before parking it somewhere to be found. He did this like a dozen times when I knew him.
