^^^ I wasnt mad in my post. I think it appears in my post that I am angry but I'm not. I just get tired of people calling others "racist" even when facts are presented to them, or an article is shared/posted on this forum.

You sounded resigned to me, not angry. I was just thinking. Can you imagine if people regularly gave the finger to someone who cut them in line at a supermarket, the way they would to someone who cut them off in a car?!

Exactly, plus you can instigate it without even realizing it.

Blacks are 1/5 of the population. It sounds like they are welcome.

I really do not see why there has to be a large population of black-americans living in an area for you to feel "welcome". And the "redneck hick" slander is a bunch of crap. If you have a problem living amungst a large percentage of white simply because you "assume" they are racist, then you are a just stereotyping people yourself which is racism. In order to be accepted, you must accept those around you as well. There are few people hanging confederate flags (not "rebel flag") in there yard and most do it as a sign of heritage, not racism. There are not many colored families living along the beach in Bay county, most live more inland. This doesn't mean that the families living along PCB are racist and will not accept a colored familey moving in. I do not believe it takes a equaly diverse setting to make it right, just friendly people who get along, or at least tolerate each other. My advise is when you look for a place to live, look at the quality of the people, don't count how many minorities you see. If that is you way of looking at things, i'd rather you not look this way.
