i meant "should", sorry. we live in jersey and we hate it!! our family consists of a mother, father, 12 year old daughter, 9 year old daughter, a 5 year-old son, and our dog. we really want to move to florida, but the state is so big and we are having trouble in picking a town to live in. well we need at least 4 bedrooms and would like a lot of bathrooms. we want a pool and we like open floor plans. we want good schools, too. we want to be within 20 minutes for the beach. we want to live in a community where the people ride bikes and stuff like that. we like the eastern side of the island more and tge southern more but we would consider the other side or the north. any ideas on where to move to? thanks

sorry, our maximum price is about 450,000, but anything under will be great! wife babysits kids as a job and is very tired of it. she wants just a part time job as a waitress or something like that. husband works at ups(in the offices) and is looking for a new job

We need your housing budget and job status in order to give better advice.

Maybe look into Martin County - Palm City, Stuart. (Martin County is one of the best rated school districts in the state)

Your price range might actually be good enough for a pool home in Jupiter, which is a very nice place to live that is very convenient to everything you need and more. That's in Palm Beach County. Jupiter schools are also excellent (the district is rated a "10" on Greatschools.net)
