You have got to be kidding. It was hot here before you got here and it's going to be hot after you leave. Another dumb post.

ng is considering the piedmont of nc. doesnt make sense. it's hot as heck there in the summer months too --- temps are about the same as here in fla, it just isn't as hot as long. and really not much wind for a cool breeze like we get here on the coasts.

I used to enjoy it when I was much younger but I started to hate it about 3 years ago or thereabouts.

We spent 2 weeks traveling Florida last August and loved every minute of it, the last week we were in Naples, Ft. Myers and then Ft Lauderdale and love the heat! We alreayd planned a week last of August this year in Ft Myers.

The hotter the better when you are at the beach or just chilling out by the pool.

I will trade 9 months of extreme heat for 9 months of extreme cold anyday.

Like Sunrico, its not either you do or not like it, the choices are way far one way or way far the other way and some will not vote in your poll because they like alittle of both.

If I lived in Florida and hated the heat, I sure wouldn't be living there long, I would ask myself what the heck am I doing here.

If you use air conditioning you don't like it. If a person sleeps with air conditioning and says they like the weather they lie and cannot be trusted as to their Florida opinions.

I LOOOOVE IT!!!!!!! I LIVE for it!!!!!! I CRAVE it!!!!!!!!
And uh, about the ac - that gets kinda old... You NEED to have SOME kind of air - I don't open my windows because they've got black sheets over 'em - and you just gotta have SOMETHING or you'd get mold or something!
But I sleep with the bedroom temp 79/80 - and when I'm awake I prefer the doors open for some cross vent.
Sometimes it is just too stuffy inside & you need ac - that DOESN'T mean I don't LOVE to sit outside & DRIP DRIP DRIP!!!
I LOOOOOOOOVE IT!!!!!
Maybe some people don't notice that indoor & outdoor temps are different - if it was EVER 85 in your HOUSE you'd start to feel kinda ill!
I mean HELL - O - didn't we go through this with NAH?!
I LOOOOVE it OUTSIDE with the heat index in the 100's!!! 100's indoors, I believe your heart would stop!
So can we get over this foolishness already please?
Oh - & in response to the dry heat thing - YES it makes a difference!!!
It is FACT - look up the weather! You'll see Phoenix (Bullhead City - any of those) temp 85 heat index 81!!! The dryness makes it feel COOLER!!!
BEEN there!!! 70's in Tucson - you put on a sweater - 70's in Miami - you ARE a sweater!!! (I'd still have a sweater on - but that's me... )

That's kind of a silly thing to say. Heat outside is different. People can like it being warm outside but cool inside. It doesn't mean they don't like the warmth.

Let's take the opposite for a sec.

What would you say if someone said they like winter -- that means they only like it if their house is kept at 50 degrees inside? Of course not.
