One trend I've noticed is that more Snowbirds are using laptops to keep in touch with their e-mails, banking, etc. More places on the road, etc are offering wifi.

Yes, Frank..I believe that today's snowbirds have it much easier than those of yesteryear...laptops, cell phones, fax machines, video conferencing, no long distance charges on many phone services, etc. That all makes keeping two homes apart more amenable, I think.
