I saw that on the weather channel too !! My brother and I are going to
be staying on Hollywood Beach 4 days in mid June. I hope you get
the rain you need before we get there!! I'm sure there will be at least a
little something to stir up some surf, I will be watching 60 miles of coast
on surfline until we get there. It said "sharky" waters today too, appearantly there were some small sharks visable not far off the beach.

We are taking a gamble but I have never been disappointed with the overall
weather on any of my trips to S. FL..hoping to catch some clear skies while
we are there.

From The Weather Channel:

"Major beach erosion and coastal flooding was also reported in Jupiter, Florida. The National Weather Service out of Miami reported a life guard office and garage were washed into the ocean and about 100 feet of coast has been eroded. The road leading to Jupiter Inlet has since been closed."
