So, do you consider yourself a Floridian or not?
Maybe my body is, but my heart and mind are a thousand miles away. I suppose you cannot understand that. To answer your question, NO. But, again, my body is here so I do qualify to vote in this poll.

I can understand some Floridians who vote NO after 5,10,15 years...
Quite a few men divorce gorgeous women after 7,10,20 years of marriage.
It's the "fed-up "factor...

Once u want to leave a woman,or a car or a state, there is no turning back...

Based on my situation , I couldnt be happier living in the Panhandle . I agree to all of the above criterion , and, I wish I could have moved here much sooner ... but the time was not correct. For those who are fed up with Florida, I say go in search of your dreams wherever that takes you and perhaps you will find it more to your liking. You wont know till you step out of the boat and walk on the water.

Great, I am glad you were able to vote.

I was previously refering to the people that currently live in other states that were voting though.

I also think it is super that you corrected my improper pluralization of dictionary. I don't think I would have made it through the day with that major faux pas on my record. It is a good thing your spelling, grammar and punctuation are beyond reproach.

Thread is still polite. We 're just talking.
The psychological mechanism of affection & of rejection has both logical & illogical elements.

Well Chris, the weather right now is simply great ; its been in the 50-60's at night and 75 f. during the day. Not humid, sunny most of the time...and if it rains, its typically for an hour or two then it clears up ! Im in Crestview, Fl. which is the highest in elevation for Florida and you even get a bit of color change in some trees and bushes making it pretty. One of the best things i like is that the housing and property taxes are dirt cheap compared to Illinois where i came from . I went real cheap by buying a 3 bedroom remodeled Mobile Home in the woods on an acre of land for $58,500 . Needed just a few minor fixup things. Property taxes, unincorporated ... are a whopping $100 per year ! (no junky cars, no homes up on bricks, no garbage strewn about the yards) . Its just 40 minutes to Destin, Fl. for entertainment and super nice beaches. I love the southern folks here too. C'mon up and do some scouting around . I suggest either Crestview, Baker, Milton, or Pace , Fl. ---- all within 45 min. east of Pensacola .
