It's only a lie because you can't disprove any of it....the USA is not emitting that 35 billion metric tons of CO2
"that you claim don't matter." if you're going to lie, don't be so obvious about it...makes you look like a fool

What can we do?.....try again

In 1991 China's emissions were ~2 GT.....China's CO2 emissions are now over 10 1/2 GT

I answered you question. You just didn't like the answer. However, you never answer my questions.

U.S. reductions in carbon dioxide emissions were entirely due to Obama administration environmental controls placed on coal-fired generation and the availability of cheap natural gas due to fracking. The Trump administration is rolling back the Obama administration controls on coal-fired emissions.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clean_Power_Plan

The Obama increased CAFE standards which required better motor vehicle fuel economy in an attempt to reduce transportation carbon dioxide emissions. The Trump administration also is rolling these back.

California vows to fight Trump EPA's move to freeze fuel economy rules - Los Angeles Times

Do you approve of the Trump policies that will increase carbon dioxide emissions?

There is nothing normal with temperatures rising in a few decades what normally takes a thousand years or more.

Especially when man and their livestock are pumping large amounts of greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere.

Yes, but you've said carbon dioxide emissions don't do any harm, so what does it matter?

But back to reality.

As we remain a major contributor to global carbon dioxide emissions, with high per capita emissions, we are a major part of the problem, especially when we are encouraging increased fossil fuel consumption under the Trump administration. As a result, we've forfeited our moral leadership position needed to lead humanity away from fossil fuel consumption.

Your inanities are not only never-ending, they are excruciatingly repetitive.

What should matter to any reader of this thread is that you clearly do NOT care about environmental degradation, or about the environmental well-being of future generations, not in Florida, not anywhere on the planet.

Odd that you can quote everything in this world....but not quote where I said that
..I have never said that....you know it...you know you lied

Per captia and GDP are a scam.....global warming does not care how many people are in a country...or how much money that country makes
Global warming only cares about how much CO2 that country puts into the atmosphere
...and that is measured by weight not per capita or GDP

Last year the biggest decline in emissions was again the USA...for the third year in a row..it dropped another .5%

The increase in CO2 emissions is not coming from the USA...The USA is not contributing to global warming

Asian economies, including China, are the vast contributors to the increase in CO2 emissions...and account for over 80% of the increase

What can we do about it?......try again

Please start providing links so we can ascertain if you're just making things up.

Made-up lies from a verifiable hypocrite. You know nothing about me, whereas you've stated you're a one-percenter with a carbon footprint far above that of the average American, especially on an accumulated lifetime basis.

See post 331 in this thread:

//www.city-data.com/forum/saras...de-bad-34.html

You said you once owned three homes with over 10,000 square feet? For how many years??? You likely would have to live in a tent for the rest of your life to make up for just that extravagance. Even your current 3,000 square foot home is 50 percent larger than the mean average U.S. home. On a median basis and per resident floor space basis, it's likely much larger.

https://www.eia.gov/consumption/resi...squarefootage/

You said that you spend several weeks in Maine each summer.

Thirty percent of Americans don't take an annual summer vacation and the average spending for those that do is $2,250 per family. Most families likely visit nearby relatives and many simply camp out, perhaps at a nearby national or state park.

https://www.nerdwallet.com/blog/fami...g-report-2018/

This isn't surprising as a quarter of Americans have no emergency fund savings and just 29 percent of Americans have six months of expenses saved.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/07/02/abou...y-savings.html

You describe a lifestyle and greenhouse gas footprint far beyond that of the typical American, and, yes far beyond my carbon footprint.

You are a hypocrite evading an actual discussion of man-made climate change science and its dire consequences.
