Hi. In about a year or so my boyfriend and I will graduate college. We both love warm/sunny weather, the beach, and cannot stand snow or winter weather. Therefore we decided the best place for us to live is, Florida (we want to stay towards the east coast). He is getting a degree in law enforcement and I, in elementary education. Our ideal location would of course be a non-retirement community, an area with great food, shopping, and grocery stores. Since my boyfriend wants a job in law enforcement I see him working in a larger city such as Tampa, but we don’t want to actually live in the city…more suburb for us. My question is…where is a nice place for a young working couple to live??? And eventually (early thirties) start a family. Thank you.

All the major cities have at least some good suburbs. Your choices are wide open.

Start with the job first, then decide where to live.

teaching positions in FL are scarce in general, but Jax would be a good choice. venture over to their board and ask away.
