Too isolated there for me. If I wanted to live in south florida, I'd live on the Miami side.

It depends on your definition of "worse". It has an international airport, many things to do, a more sophisticated, diverse population, probably a better job market. I'll take that anyday over being stranded in SW Florida.

^^^ I have to agree. Even with all the problems Miami/South Florida has, I would prefer it over SW Florida too. But I am still young, so maybe when I am at retirement age I will think differently of SW Florida.

I'm talking about Ft Myers vs. Miami. I'd take Ft Myers all day. But it'd suck.

hey we are headed to a coast next - have to wait 2 years....which will really suck.... but if that coast doesn't work out we are out of this state. We can just about tolerate the useless government.... we can't tolerate other 'cultural' items.

Bush was one thing, Christ is an idiot now bailing so when this state landslides financially he doesn't get tagged with it and doesn't have to deal with it. Florida's largest problem is - you can't have your cake and eat it too.
