We get to a light, the person had to get in the right lane again as there was ONE less car waiting at the light. Probably saved themselves 3 seconds - if that. Then we get to the 4 way stop by Publix and now they want to make a left but they're in the right lane. What'd they do? They put their FLASHERS on and people went around them. Then after a few cars went around them and the coast was clear, they took a LEFT turn from the RIGHT lane. At an intersection. I've never seen so many idiots and impatient jerks.
WOW one of the 4 or 5 other negative posters from the Orlando forum said the same thing as you!? that's a shock it must be true then!...

How does that whole story you posted prove that the driver was unhappy.. for all you know it could have been a couple of happy people in a rush to get to a party, haha.

I know I'm gonna get all kinds of hell for saying this, but how come the "lists" that put FL towards or at the bottom for things have no credibility, but all of the sudden this "list" is credible?

I think that the reason this state is ranked that high is because of all the transplants/retirees who move here seeking their little piece of "paradise" with endless sun, summer, beaches, etc.

If you move here for reasons other than the above, you have a totally different perspective on things. Yes, I have met these people too, but they are few and far between here.

kinda like how people always post lists and agree with them when FL is at or near the bottom but when FL is near the top of a list for once people can't handle it and deny it. It can go either way

Sun gives you vitamin D and vitamin D helps with being happy/healthy. Plus sunny days in general put the average person in a better mood then dark gloomy days. Like today was a gloomy rainy day due to the big eastern winter storm and when I checked my facebook this morning I saw a ton of "I hate gloomy days" posts.

I hear ya. I prefer to stick with my own personal experiences and what I personally see with my own eyes than to put any stock into some "list".

I've met plenty of happy people here, as well as plenty of unhappy ones.

Same thing goes with every state.

Y'all have fun with this one for now because you know there will be another "list" around the corner putting Florida at the back of the line.

Actually it was someone I dont really hear from too much.

Like I said, the story I just posted about is common. That's what's sad. People in Orlando dont have a lot of common courtesy and patience, and I dont need a poll to tell me that.

Get on topic. We are not talking about how much common courtesy and patience states have. We're talking about which states are more happy. There's a difference.

People that I meet are generally happy people. Most have been here for years and are NOT senior citizens or retired. I have many friends that have been here for years and love FL.
