I like how FL's cold is the number one US story on CNN.com, even though the whole country is way below average right now.

Because people in the U.S. have a hard time imagining weather here being like this. The one State that many older folks either live permanently, or have a 2nd home at, is Florida for winters. Even a snowfall in Vegas wouldn't make as big of news as the cold weather we've been getting here. When people in the U.S. think of 31 degree weather, they sure don't think that would be a Florida temp at 5PM!

I'm a FL native and I like this weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could see how many folks think it's too cold.

I just cant see how someone could possibly want it to be 90 degrees again already. We have enough of that the other 5-6 months of the year.

Key West may even be near their all-time record low many say! The forecast from NWS 44° and the all-time is 40°!

Currently its 47° there with a 16 mph wind out of the north with gusts to 26 mph, creating a windchill of 41°!! BRR!

I am counting the minutes until we get get that lovely 90 degree weather again. I love it. Of course the fact that it is 19 degrees outside right now may have something to do with it.

I just want to see it up to where the heat doesn't run or the AC. Then the farmers can replant.

We hit a low of 13 this morning just a bit north of Tampa.
They are saying it will get above freezing by about 10.
That is going to be 15 hours of below freezing weather here.
Yes, 90 degrees any day over this.
