That's just what Miami needs. Another place to get wasted and get behind the wheel. Hit n run capital and now beer at Burger King.

I agree. Don't we have enough of those places?

More drinking, more accidents, more deaths . Making money trumps lives.

I never really understood why they haven't in the past. You can buy beer or wine in pretty much any restaurant anywhere, even little breakfast joints. There used to be a chain called Lum's that were kind of like a Burger King and they started right from the start selling beer. They were so successful I had no idea why the others didn't follow suit. I am not sure what happened to Lum's, they may have been bought out and are another name now. Beer is legal and if they can make a go of it and run a successful business, provide jobs and add to the economy more power to them.

What seems to be the problem?

In Europe, beer is often on the menu at fast food joints. As long as there's restriction about getting it at the drive through, I don't see how a beer at lunch is going to increase drunk driving?

Can't people get beer at lunch anywhere? Or pick up a beer at the convenience store?

How about banning alchohol altogether. That worked well once, right?

That's my concern.

Alcohol and Miami, to be honest, is a bad combination anyway. Especially with all the road rage and hit n runs.

It's already bad enough there.
