I'm usually cold seven months of the year, so I'd take the Florida summers over the New York winters any day of the week.

I have a strong feeling that you will do better in Florida summers. For one thing if your legs are beautiful enough that you can wear shorts and not upset TAN you'll be ahead of the game!

Ny winter.... Summer here bites the big one. 8 months of humidity stinks, 6 months of death valley heat....lol. I want to move to North Florida where they get colder more often and faster, SWFL is horrible.

Anyone who says May is still nice is confused. April starts the nasty weather down here. March 80's... May= high 80's to low 90's... 90's until the end of october if you are lucky and the moon and stars align right.

I never got "used to the heat" here as i was told in 1994.... Never happened, never will.

I'll take the Florida Summers seeing that our summer actually only lasts about 3 to 4 months. Below is our averages for Syracuse,NY. What it does not show is the 120 inches of snow we get here!

Monthly averages & records°F | °C
MonthAverage lowAverage highAverage precipRecord lowRecord highJanuary16°32°2.46 in-26° (1966)70° (1967)February17°34°2.09 in-26° (1979)69° (1981)March25°44°2.93 in-41° (1938)87° (1986)April37°57°3.31 in7° (1923)92° (1990)May47°69°3.06 in15° (1930)96° (1977)June56°78°3.06 in34° (1945)100° (1934)July61°82°3.6 in44° (1946)102° (1936)August59°80°3.42 in40° (1965)101° (2002)September51°72°3.54 in25° (1947)97° (1939)October41°60°3.42 in18° (1940)87° (1963)November32°48°3.31 in5° (1976)81° (1950)December22°37°3.01 in-26° (1942)72° (2001)

Woops my copy and paste of the chart didnt work out too good, it just jumbled it all together. Oh well its freaking cold and snowy here!!!

Nah, Tennessee or the Carolina's all year round. Best of both worlds, neither too extreme. Nice, warm (but not horrendous) summers and mild winters!
