If the world makes you who you are it may be time to start again. The positives of an area are like reviewing the half empty or half filled glass. I have found when things look fogged or blurry it is best to clean the mirror and look again. You are what you are.. you make the difference and write the script. Florida offers great things as does any other state. Finding them and enjoying them is up to us.

Well said. We have lived all over the US. The bitter cold of Minnesota, MA, NH, OH, PA, TX, FL, NC, SC. We have found equal numbers of negative and positive people in every single state.

It just cracks me up how some people just sit in front of the computer and wait for anyone to post anything remotely positive about Florida so they can come crashing in to tell us how much they hate it.

Default &

To Established,

I think your posts are very unloving and condescending. You assume so much about so many. I can't get my relatives here to visit Florida with a forklift! I don't see problems with retirees and or golfers. I like to chat with them. Doggone nice people.

Please don't make remarks about lower income people. In your next life if you keep up with that attitude, you could be reborn as a pauper.

I would say that usually the lower income people are actually the ones that see and deal with crime in thier neighborhoods, so if you arent lower income then dont tell someone that is to stop talking about crime because it affects our communities everyday......this isnt directly to u but i mean in general to all of those that say what i should be quite about when they havent lived my life or other peoples lives that are at the same level as mine or worse

Uh how many hurricanes have you had in the past 10 years..? ... And how many earthquakes has California had in the past 10.?
Yeah.. exactly.
In my lifetime I have only gone through i think 3 earthquakes. 2 were small. And the recent one was a bigger and longer. Butt... I'd rather have an earthquake (which do not even occur often) than a hurricane which occurs maybe every year.? I'm not sure. I don't know how many hurricanes you get there and all but whatever.
