Hey Dee2e,
We are in Punta Gorda. I am doing my best to try to sell the home on our own also. We can do this if we choose to. I would even go lower than the price we have it listed for if we do it ourselves.
Hope the phone rings soon!! LOL

No, we are on craigslist though. We are still listed with a realtor but can sell it on our own. She will let us out of the contract.

Default house selling

The Realtors survey showed that the biggest declines occurred in states that had been enjoying red-hot sales during the five-year housing boom.

The five biggest declines this spring compared to the April-June period of 2005 were Arizona, down 26.9 percent; Florida, down 26.7 percent; California, down 25.3 percent; Virginia, down 23.9 percent, and Nevada, down 23.5 percent.

Yup, now they are coming down and balancing out. We are at the right price now and hope somebody comes and steals this home. We should have done this earlier in the year but it will happen eventually.

So hopefully people will start to realize that and start bringing there prices way down.
Actually, you need total combined monthly income of about $75000 for a $250000 loan and you could get 100% financing with good credit.

But you would probably be stuck with a predatory loan or an ARM that you may not be able to afford later and possibly have trouble refinancing later.
Way to risky to buy too much house imho. Then throw high property taxes and high insurances on top of it..ouch.
7500 a month is 90000/yr and if your credit is good enough,so yeah firemans pretty close.
