We are relocating to Eglin AFB and have been looking to move in the Crestview area. I have a family member with special medicals needs and will need home care and good physicians. Has anyone used the home care in the Crestview area? If so, have they been satisfied with the care.

I havent used the home care here in Crestview ; if you contact The North Okaloosa Medical Center which is the hospital here in Crestview, im sure they can suggest ones that they know are good. Ive been here in Crestview for one year now, and i like it here. People are very nice, convenient highways, quick to get to the beaches , strong christian morals and ethics, and easy to make friends. I hope you find it the same way.

I've heard good things about Amedisys (this is coming from nurses at hospitals).

Alas, those strong Christian morals don't particularly get applied too well. The corruption and cronyism down here is impressive even by Florida standards.

Thats because not everyone who lives in the Panhandle chooses to live according to high moral standards ; however by and large, the Panhandle is known for being strong conservative Christian per capita , and a good many people choose to live and work according to distinct biblical principles and moral mandates which is a virtue to society. It is the opposite of this that encourages widespread moral degradation. The Founding Fathers of our country thought so too --- its a shame there is so much hostility toward that now some 230 years later.

Is that why so many of the founding fathers loved to drink and loved prostitutes? Heck, Aaron Burr actually killed Alexander Hamilton.
Ben Franklin was a serious drunk. He loved women and actually wrote a paper on how to pick a mistress. Franklin was an occultist and possibly a satanist. He loved orgies and was a member of a thing called the "Hellfire club" that held black masses.

Most of the stuff about the founding fathers is little more then a myth perpetuated by lies in school books. They were a certainly intelligent but also a writers fantasy and as a group, quite an immoral bunch. They were people you would not like very much. We all remember the Spanish inquisition, now there was a fun group of guys.

What is your obsession with the founding fathers? People are more moral today then probably any time in our history.

I'd call the massive federal investigation into corruption and kickbacks at the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office shows a decided lack in moral values. C'mon Vegas gambling trips on the taxpayer dime, the sheriff putting his concubine up in a half million dollar condo on the Intracoastal, assorted others involved in the mess currently pleading guilty to felony charges. I'm not sure how you can find Christian values in that lot.

There's the tax collector's office using taxpayer time to promote their brand of Christianity and giving large bonuses to employees who just happened to all belong to the tax collector's church.

And that's not going into the whole Ray Sansom issue, which goes back long before Hangargate.

Im glad that you can see the difference between those that take their Christianity seriously versus those who dont . As you know, many things are done 'in the name' of God (occasional lip service)...which are not OF God. Dont know why you are so hostile to the real ideologies/principles/morals/ethics of the Christian Faith since no one would expect any less concerning how One wants to be treated by others (that being, with high absolute moral laws and values all the time) . So, you should be all for Christian principles. Its a tad hypocritical to live as though God doesnt exist, yet demand others treat you in accordance to godly morals and high personal ethics.

Thats the first ive heard of such unrelenting defamation toward our Founding Fathers who were vehement regarding Christian ethics and principles for the U.S. and whom had great love and devotion toward our Creator (WallBuilders - Issues and Articles - The Founding Fathers on Jesus, Christianity and the Bible) . I look forward to you providing source information to back up your inflamatory allegations . Lastly, can u show how a liberal moral mindset with accompanying lifestyles ...aka: Post Modernism ... is benefitting the Country when you consider the resulting social ills that besets us ? Start with Americas favorite pastime of unbridled sexual hedonism and the resulting consequences its had for individuals and America at large ... that even make the Irreligious awestruck as to the devastation .

Like i told the other Poster, you dont really want to live in a society where anything goes in the 'name of freedom' for maximized personal 'fun' ... while demanding you recieve from others a high-level of moral integrity in all your social and business dealings.

Im glad the OP sees the distinct benefit of moving to an area of Florida where there is still a good dose of moral integrity and dignity left toward one another ; thats what Ive found in the Panhandle and thats what others are enjoying too, by and large.
