hello , i am looking for anyone that might know or can explain to me why the amount of my unemployment check that i received today is only 24% of what it should be.

i'm not 100% sure but i think i am on Teir 3 and the letter i also got today says i am eligible for the Teir 4 benefits BUT the letter says...

"We will subtract any Extended Benefits you may have received for weeks ending on or after Novenber 14 , 2009 from any EUC credits available to you"

normally i get 2 checks every two weeks and one is usually 400 and the other is 44 dollars. the check i got today which should have been 400 was only 97 dollars. i don't understand what happened and i have tried to look this up on the internet but it seems the only conversations i could locate were about signing a petition to extend Teir benefits.

does anyone know why my check is much less and do you think that amount is what i will continue to receive ?

because of this, i am in big trouble with my bills and they gave me no warning that the amount would be less this claim period

anyone know what's going on ? thanks in advance

(yes i have been looking for work)

When you hit the end of a tier, you only get what's left in your benefits for that tier for the week, a friend of mine got $12.
