Hi foodies!

So I have a bunch of new crock pot recipes that I want to try out that call for chicken breasts. I buy my chicken breasts frozen from Costco.

Should I put the chicken breasts (2 used per recipe) into the crock pot frozen or thawed? I don't want the chicken to get dried out.
I usually cook most crock pot recipes on low for 6-8 hours.

Thanks!

Personally, I'd put them in frozen. Depends on what all else is going in the crock also.

Toss 'em in frozen. It doesn't make a difference.

That long a cooking time I wouldn't be concerned if they're thawed or frozen.. Try sticky chicken some time with legs and thighs!!

No problem! I really don't like dark either ...well, I'll eat legs anytime. But, thighs never except as sticky chicken. Weird I know, but it's a very unusual flavoring and falls off the bone. Not sure how white meat would do as sticky chicken.
