I'll eat soup or chili anytime of the year. I also eat breafast for dinner and vice versa. I have been known to eat leftover pizza for breakfast and eggs for dinner.

Chili doesn't really sound good to me when it's hot out .....but some other soups sure....We love chicken tortilla soup and it's best when you can get good avocados to put on top.......

I eat my big meal in the middle of the day and a favorite combination is soup and salad and a big iced tea, especially in the summer time. I love chili and eat it all year long.

Oddly enough, I had chili for breakfast this morning at 0530. It was a chili size, which is an open-face chili burger loaded with hot sauce, raw onions and shredded sharp cheddar. Makes a great breakfast.

I grew up on hot, spicy food and eat it all year round, no matter if it's 110+° outside, which isn't a rare occurrence around here. Two days ago it was 94° and I had red hot chile colorado smothered with hot pico de gallo salsa at my local Mexican joint. Since this is such a dry climate, eating hot stuff actually cools me off, as it makes me sweat.

I notice local vietnamese restaurants which serve pho( a beef noodle soup) are just as busy if not more in hot summer days than cold,we make stew and soup year round because its a great meal, affordable, lasts more than one meal and actually gets better w/time in the fridge.

I figure that we eat other hot foods, soup is really no different! Chili is the same too. Unless it's over 90 degrees outside then I make salads and lighter food for dinners.

I have a recipe for Cheeseburger soup that I'll make anytime of the year cause we all love it. Someone mentioned French Onion soup and that sounds very good right now!

I need to be in the mood for chili also. Some soup and a nice salad or healthy wrap or stuffed pita make great meals. In fact, I just told DH today that we should do more soup and a side meals.
