I mean, maybe my OP was not clear enough, I am sorry, guys: it irks me when I see misspellings/wrong pronunciation, but what really irks me is when people do that to look cool, and it is just terrible!!
Everybody makes spelling/pronunciation mistakes, myself included, but why trying to look cool when you don't even know what the word means?!
I have described some foods sometimes bc I did not know them well and knew it would not be cool at all if I wanted to sound knowledgeable about something I clearly wasn't.
So it is not the knowledge I am discussing, it is the "need for coolness" factor.
I myself would rather use my stress on more important issues than worrying about how a person spells/mispells or uses words to sound cool or not..
I say who cares...
Sorry Miaiam...I just tend to be a laid back gal. As a person ages... you learn thru life...some things just aren't that big of deal.
