Does anyone else watch this series?

OMG, my daughter thought him a wimp because he couldn't eat 50 hot wings in 30 minutes. I'm a little shocked that he couldn't, either. Sometimes it seems like he throws the challenge.

I have been watching that show lately. I can understand that he couldnt eat all the wings, he said they were rich because the sauce had butter. Im surprised that one episode when he ate that whole grilled cheese sandwhich with 5 pounds of cheese. That was disgusting.

I first thought this thread was "Man Food" which stimulated my interest. When I discovered it has to do with gluttony as a featured element of a tv show, I lost interest. If you want to talk about jerky, burgers, steaks, sausages, ribs......maybe involve some charcoal and hickory or mesquite chips........do a "Man Food" thread.......I'll be on board.

I live in Oklahoma. We once again made it into the top ten of the fatest states in the country. Pigging out does not belong on a TV show.........reality or not.

Honestly I think the show would be fine without the "challenge" at the end.

I just don't find it amusing or interesting. The rest of the show is great though.

Same here. This kind of stuff flies only in a well-fed (more like overfed) nation.

It's not always about quantity.

Sometimes it's a question of whether or not you can take the "heat".

By the way, interesting scientific challenge. Bet someone that they can't drink a gallon of milk--in an hour. The stomach simply can't hold that amount of fluid.

I mostly enjoy seeing the different restaurants and foods. Most of them are good ole American foods.

I do get a kick out of some of the challenges, though. I understand some of the pc talk about being a fat, overfed nation but would you walk out if you were in a place where one of these challenges took place? Or, would you lighten up and enjoy the cheering, bantering, and mostly harmless fun?

I hope Adam gets regular medical checkups, lol. That one breakfast food challenge made me worry about his arteries!
