Chinese and French are considered the best in the world.
But the French way of cooking is rather expensive,to make a lobster sauce, get 3/4 lb of shrimp

Italian and Mexican. Chicago Deep Dish, Malnatis and King Taco are truly the end all be all.

My mother was born in Hungary as was my dads parents swo you know what I was weaned on. Dishes from there are prepped differently depending on Grandmothers teaching. Pasta in different ways....made some with cabbage for last nights dinner. Cabbage rolls a favorite with out a doubt. A staple item in most of the countries around Hungary could be covered with tomato sauce or sauerkraut....mother did both many times. Other dishes galore. My mother was catholic but I suspect some Jewish DNA in her ancestory, Oy Vey.

Indian cuisine.

I also like Greek, French, Italian, Arabic.

Something like: Spanakopita, then some Greek salad, some prosciutto, hummus, babaganoush with German bread. Then eclair au chocolat, creme brulee and then...diabetes. Ha ha.

I’ve only had Americanized versions, but I had to pick italian. It is hard to beat a real good italian sub. I don’t know if there are many old world mom and pops left in the world, but when I was a kid the Italian “ grinders” were fantastic.

There is nothing like homemade Bavarian or better Sueben food. Good ingredients, simple seasonal food and always enough for the expected unexpected guest.

Middle Eastern (mostly Lebanese) food is in great abundance here; Indian food, too! Wonderful.
