I just used mine to steam veggies. Do that almost every day. Also use it to make my omelet in the morning. That's all the cooking I do with it, everything else is just reheating.

Yesterday. I use them a lot because on my pay as you go meter I see it uses a fraction of the electricity that the oven uses.

I don't even own a microwave, lol
Even when I did I almost never used it, I cook the old fashioned way
The only thing a microwave is good for is reheating leftovers & microwave popcorn....

This morning to heat up a slice of leftover pizza. I only use it to reheat leftovers so maybe a few times a week.

A couple days ago, just to reheat a piece of leftover pizza.

I rarely use the microwave, and when I do it's just to quickly reheat food that's already been cooked. Occasionally I'll cook bacon in the microwave to save a little time.

I use it every day. Tonight, we warmed up leftovers for dinner.
One of my fantasies is, what it our microwaves could also flash cool things. Now, that would be a handy appliance.
Like, stick a bottle of wine in there, and cool for 60 seconds.

I went looking for my microwave (which by now has been deconstructed for materials) today when I needed to set the kitchen timer. Argh. I hate the timer on my stove ... Still deciding if I want to buy another microwave, or get by without one for awhile.
