The problem with fast food joints like Wendy's is inconsistency. One day the fries are hot, the next they're soggy.

And just the thought of a prepared salad from Wendy's makes me sort of queasy.

I wish they would bring back their salad bar instead.

The thought of their salads make you quesy but the thought of ingredients sitting out in the open for hours for anyone to touch, sneeze on, cough on, etc. doesnt??

I dont believe it. Arent fast food chains all about being as cheap as possible? It would cost them money for "REAL" fresh ingredients.

I notice they don't list the "real" ingredients. I'm betting there are a lot of ingredients going into those salads that I certainly wouldn't use at home.

Hearing the phrase "Now with REAL *insert ingredient* " always annoys the hell out of me every time.

"Now with REAL chicken"

WTF were they using before????????

I had the Baja salad last night. Nothing to write home about. It was good, but not worth $6. Basically, it was lettuce with chili dumped over it and some pretty good guacalmole scooped into one corner. Since I love Wendy's chili, it was a good choice for me. But would I get it again, no way!

Does anybody else miss the days when Dave Thomas was still around? Wendy's was so much better then.

Actually by me, they are over $6.00. Was just there today, it was $6.29 or .49.
