Well, that is a today chore for us.

When you live 65 miles from a store one needs to buy extra, but being judicious about using it..
Need to work on that area.

I totally understand.... Our nearest WM is a 50 mile round trip, so I do the same thing.

I am always wiping the inside bottom where our childrens black hair seems to always be & they don't even open the fridge. You would think by age 3 & age 5 & age 9 the kids could open a fridge door & clean up their own mess.

HA!!!! Gotcha's..... Rotty dog hair....what can I say. The best kids to have in our eyes, even tho we deal with the black hair here...there...& Everywhere. Wouldn't trade a clean fridge for them...for nothing.

I clean the refrigerator when I can't stand how messy it is! It's not a pretty sight when you're living w/ three other college girls! Kudos to my roommate who cleaned the fridge recently!

Every now and then, one of us will say ... What the hell is that thing?

At the moment, our fridge is brand new, so we're taking extra especial care to keep it looking that way.

I forgot to mention in my post above...
Rotty hair in this household is fiber.

As there is only 2 of us-every couple of weeks. I will wipe down the shelves every week. Never a big overhaul. We usually never have identified objects as we do not have left overs-once in a while but they are eaten within 2 days!

I do a regular wipe in case of any spills, about once a week and clean thoroughly and defrost once a month. And I never let anything I buy ever go bad and try to buy things as I need them.

Every week. I always clean out the fridge on the day I do my weekly shopping. I wipe it down, throw away any thing that needs it and staighten it up before I go shopping. I hate to try to put groceries away in a messy fridge.

I pull mine out and clean the top, sides, underneath it and the rear coils more often than I do the interior. I am fairly conscientious about things like meat that could contaminate the glass shelves, so I usually defrost in bowls. I don't really find myself cleaning the inside so much if I'm careful.

Mine needs cleaning but I'm avoiding it right now. My coils are enclosed so no problem there and I wipe down the front sides/top externally as needed. It's the INSIDE I have issues with LOL

I'm pretty good about removing old and expired food, but my fridge does need a thorough scrub-out. Some of the shelves and compartments are getting gunky. I should clean it out tomorrow so that when I do my grocery shopping on Saturday, I have a nice clean fridge to put things into.
