Such an interested marketing strategy. Both PJs and PH tout on TV commercials how much money you save by getting their "any size, any pizza for $10". I am a member of both of their weekly newsletters and get coupons with worse deals compared to the any pizza $10.

They're specials like, "$20 deal!!! Two, one-topping for only $20"

I just don't get it.

Screw Papa Johns and Pizza Hut. 16inch Costco take and bake pizza for $9.99 comes with a hell of a lot more toppings then either of those company's $20.00 pizzas. Papa Murphys with coupons is also much better.

I'm not a HUGE pizza fan, but if I were to get a pizza, I'd want the stuffed crust from Pizza Hut. I noticed on one of their "$10 any size, any toppings, any crust" ads, that stuffed crust was subject to an extra charge. Um...so why do you advertise ANY CRUST?!

That's just like Subway who sometimes has "$5 any footlong!", but their "premium" subs aren't included. Um...you said ANY FOOTLONG!

When I first came to the States, I could not believe Americans actually would settle for pizzas with only 2 toppings then pay extra for additional toppings.........most pizzas in Oz have at least 6 toppings as part of 'the pizza' ordered.

You guys are so getting ripped off..........check it out

I don't want more than two toppings. In fact, a cheese pizza is primo! Yeah, a pizza with lots of toppings is great sometimes, but not all the time!

I usually pay a few bucks more to support my neighborhood pizza joint.

Actually there's a lot more "mom & pop" pizza joints in Oz rather than the "big chains" especially in the Little Italy parts of Melbourne & Sydney - and to whoever said "lucky you" unfortunately I'm in the US now and I doubt the Oz stores would "deliver" = )

Roosty they DO have just plain (cheese only) ones like the Margherita - but tbh if I just wanted cheese I'd have a grilled cheese with tomato soup - as far as pigging out goes - one slice of those is PLENTY lol
