San Francisco continues to confound us... On one hand the city is trying to take all the happy out of Happy Meals; on the other hand, it's the same place you can now order up a plate of fried chicken coated in a red velvet cake batter.
The culinary curiosity is now available on the menu at San Francisco's American Cupcake, where the general manager says "It has the classic red velvet flavor with a hint of vinegar, cocoa and sweetness."
They should have stuck with the Rice-A-Roni. I don't want no chicken cake. Here's a quote from one of my emails from the Rice-A-Roni people: "The original idea for
Rice-A-Roni was inspired by the Armenian style rice pilaf recipe, a mixture of rice and macaroni."
They're real nice, them roni folks!....
Just as bad as the fair food......... fried Twinkie, snickers, deep fried butter, and the list goes on-and-on. The only difference with this is that your paying $$$$ to enjoy this at a "gourmet" establishment
I say its just another fried chicken batter. It might taste good.
As for the frigging San Franfreako Food Nazi's they need to keep their filthy hands off my happy meal. http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:43mVEjMBEXpVEM:l (broken link)
