We are having salisbury steak cooked in the crockpot (not sure how this will taste), mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans.
Please let us know - and if you like it - give us the recipe!

Seems like everyone is having wonderful meals lately! Tonight will be leftover beef and cabbage soup, hashbrown casserole, salad, and leftover cornbread.
One of our absolute favorite Sunday dinners-a stuffed roast duck, crispy skin, roast potatoes, vinegar and oil cole slaw with lots of onions sliced into it. To die for!

It was really good. Here's the recipe:
2 pounds of lean ground beef (I didn't have quite that much)
1 envelope onion soup mix (I used Lipton's)
1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup flour
2 T vegetable oil
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 envelope au jus gravy mix
3/4 cup water
Mix ground beef, onion soup mix, bread crumbs, and milk. Shape into 8 patties.
Heat oil in med size frying pan, dredge patties with flour, brown patties on both sides. Place in crock pot in a pyramid shape. In another bowl, mix chicken soup, au jus mix, and water. Pour over meat. Cook about 4-5 hours until meat is done.
Our dinner tonight was another crockpot winner: Chicken in a cream sauce over rice. I know that I am being presumptuous, but here's the recipe if anyone is interested.
Recipe calls for 4 chicken breasts but I only used 2. 2 T. butter, 1 package of dry Italian salad dressing mix (I used Good Seasons), 1 can Golden Mushroom Soup, 8 ounce container chive and onion cream cheese, 1/2 cup dry white wine (I used a little more), and the chicken.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and then add everything but the chicken. Stir often and cook until a nice consistency and everything is mixed well. Put chicken in crockpot and then pour sauce over. Cook on low until chicken is done--about 4 hours.
