Kentucky Fried Chicken, cole slaw, mashed pots & gravy.

I watched a news program about Col. Sanders once.
Supposedly, he thought that the new pots & gravy the new owners replaced his homemade with tasted just like wallpaper paste-LOL!

Honestly, I don't think he was far off with his comparison, but I still eat the stuff.

Default The Agenda - September 12 - 18

This week's dinner selections actually began a few minutes ago at Rudy's Country Store and BBQ in Frisco, TX. There, I've had some hearty cuts of sliced brisket and pork ribs, with a side of coleslaw, three slices of white bread, and an 8-ounce bottle of Dublin Dr Pepper. As the week progresses at home, my food plans are to be more on the lighter side, with a few salads, homemade fruit juices, and some salmon sandwiches on wheat buns.

Have an extraordinary week at your dinner table, and bon appetit!

OK, so Publix had chicken on sale. We are having romaine salad with the usual suspects (tomato, onion, gr pepper, celery, avocado), croutons sizzled in olive oil w/parmesan, and grilled boneless chicken. Good Seasons salad dressing, or whatever other kind people want. (I want bleu cheese).

When we were relocated to Va there were no Jack In The Box's. Out here in the Midwest they are all over-my husband is ecstatic!

Tonight is

Salad

Another exhilarating afternoon with the Blue Angels in formation flying overhead!
