I prefer mine home grilled. Meat seasoned with cumin, Mexican oregano, salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic and onion powders. I also like to add an egg to the beef. A healthy dose of good chorizo adds a welcome kick.

I like the burgers topped with green chiles, avocado, tomato, grilled onions, lettuce, cheese, bacon, mayo, ketchup, and tabasco sauce. A generous helping of mushrooms sauteed in butter, garlic, and a bit of thyme rounds things out.

Typing that made me hungry (eating it gives me heartburn).

Full slice of raw onions, tomato slice, lettuce leaf ( no shredded), avocado slice if available. No mustard, mayo, other sauces, cheese or pickles.

Mustard, chili and onions at a restaurant.

If we cook out and grill hamburgers I like tomatoes out of the garden, Vidalia onions, lettuce, mayo, mustard and I make my own chili. This burger is the kind you need several napkins with to eat as it drips down your chin and even off your elbows. Really messy but sooooo good.

I can't wait till we can get our tomatoes planted and Georgia Vidalia onions are ready.

Ketchup, mayo, lettuce (leaf, not shredded), tomato slice, cheese. Just your basic burger toppings.

However, I also LOVE the Western bacon cheeseburger at Carl's Jr., which comes with an onion ring, barbecue sauce and of course, cheese.

I like A1 Sauce every now and then. It has to be original A1. Not the Thick & Hearty or Peppercorn or Garlic or Hickory etc etc. And I've tried other steak sauce brands, including some fancy ones, but nothing comes close to original A1.
