Distilled water and smiling because an article just came out in the paper that said the water tower hasn't been checked in 15 years when it should be done every 5 years!

While the US government regulates the levels of pathogens in US drinking water, there are no rules for pharmaceuticals and other compounds, apart from one: the herbicide atrazine.
The Safe Drinking Water Act regulates 91 contaminants, but there are tens of thousands of chemicals used in the United States, including more than 8,000 monitored by the EPA, and many of their health effects remain unclear.
