Yeah, that flavored coffee doesn't do much for me, either.

Here's a simple coffee recipe for the best iced coffee ever.

Pour 1lb coffee (most bags of ground coffee) into a large container.
Pour in 2 gallons (8 quarts) of cold water.
Stir until all the coffee makes contact with the water.
Put a lid on it and let it steep for 8 hours.
Strain the coffee and grounds through a strainer lined with cheesecloth.
Put the coffee in the refrigerator and let it get cold.

That's your base for ice coffee. Fill a glass with ice cubes and then halfway with the coffee. Add sugar and fill the rest with milk, cream, half and half, evaporated milk or whatever you choose.

Yes, this makes a lot but it will keep in the refrigerator for a month. Whether it actually lasts that long is up to you!

Another alternative is to add sweetened condensed milk (2-3 Tbsp) and fill the rest with the cream of your choice.

Absolute yummy! Coffee, when steeped in cold water doesn't bring out the bitterness it does when brewed in hot water.

Try this. Then come back and tell me I'm not your new best friend!
