My breakfast today was french toast.
I guess chicken and waffles aren't commonplace in your area. Out here, it's pretty prevalent, especially in the African-American neighborhoods. This restaurant chain here in the greater L.A. area is pretty popular. (I've never been there, but have heard that it's a great place.)

I'm planning on having french toast for breakfast tomorrow (this is before I read your post quoted above.)

So I started my "eat clean diet" today. I choked down a bowl of oatmeal. I can't stand eating breakfast. I just don't like eating until 12. But, I am working on being more healthy

I've only seen it on the menu in some of the soul food places in Harlem. Actually, it wasn't bad at all. It actually works as a pair. I certainly won't be ordering it every time I go to Ihop's but will do so once in a blue moon. It's such a strange combination that I think everyone should try it at least once.
