Some of you fans of chocolate (who isn't?) might be interested in looking at the deZaan Cocoa & Chocolate Manual with its 171 pages of facts and figures and photos. Something to read while eating your chocolate!

Dark. Swiss if possible though I will take Belgian as well. A Minimum of 70%, I can go to 85%, anything above that is a little too bitter though. I tried a 99% once and I must admit it made my lips pucker !

White chocolate is NOT chocolate and to me is a culinary aberration and gastonomic blaspheme of the real thing. As it contains no Cocoa solids and virtually no Theobromin it should IMO be called something else .

Milk chocolate is usually way too sweet for me though I am fond of Milka Chocolate for nostalgic reasons. In very small quantities.

Dark chocolate is to me the only chocolate really worthy of passion though. I will have one square once in a while of some really good ( and expensive) dark chocolate and it will satisfy my craving for a while.

Anybody who truly loves chocolate should read "Chocolate , the consuming passion" , a hilarious and perfect book for true Chocophiles.

NO way!!! White chocolate has no taste ( except vanilla). DARK chocolate is just plain... delicious! White chocolate is not even a real chocolate because lack of cocoa solids !
Dark chocolate is HEALTHY!! ( lowers high blood pressure, is a potent antioxidant )

Dark Chocolate - not white chocolate or milk chocolate - is good for you. As there is no question that chocolate procures pleasure for those who eat it, you never need to feel guilty again!

Dark chocolate is my favorite - the higher the cocoa content, the better - and white chocolate is my second favorite. Milk chocolate comes in a distant third.
