Baked salmon with sun-dried tomatoes and mediterranean herbs, steamed veggies, herbed flatbread, and I'm trying to figure out something yummy to do with fresh pears as a dessert.

LOL! I had them a week or so ago for lunch, so I am not yet ready for them again.

I'm not familiar with that concept when it comes to seafood, but OK.

I just thought that -- God forbid! -- you might have forgotten about those delicious morsels of goodness.

For $9 +/- we'll both have dinner tonight and leftovers for lunch tomorrow

Sometimes we'll even split one dish from the lunch menu and just get one extra egg roll on the side, (it comes with one), so dinner is around $6 for us both.
I must spread some reps around before giving to you again

I love a good bargain!

Re: the pear dessert

For any who were waiting with baited breath, I decided that with the pears, less was more. I simply sliced them with an apple corer/wedger, sprinkled the slices with a light dusting of Penzey's vanilla sugar, and they were a GREAT dessert.
