As long as nobody's coming to see our house tonight (it's for sale, if you want to buy it! ), we're going out for Thai. In a perfect world, it wouldn't make a difference, but we can't leave the devil-dog home while strangers are looking around.

So, all fingers crossed, because some drunken noodles and some curry are just what I need!

haha, your dog isnt people friendly? as overwhelmingly friendly as skye is to people she knows, she is nuts around people she doesnt know. i dont bother to have her meet new people and i usually walk her late in the evenings. last night, i was walking her and my wife came out of the garage to add something to the garbage. skye seemed like she was about to kill her until she got within a foot of her and realized who she was (she doesnt seem to have very good night vision).

tonight will be grilled chicken with some yoshida for dipping and a side of penne with tomato sauce. im getting close to finishing the giant bowl of penne i made a couple weeks ago, it feels like an accomplishment.

I guess you didn't read about Artie's "unfortunate incarceration" last year after he ran out of my friend's house and bit our neighbor?

To his credit, though, as soon as I invite a stranger INTO the house, he's best friends with them. Outside or uninvited? He's Satan!

And in this neighborhood with 40+ dogs, he's only friends with 4 of them. So he's not dog-friendly either. What a beast.

Your dinner sounds yummy, by the way. Do you know the way to get your chicken soft, tender, melt-in-your-mouth yummy like it is in Chinese restaurants? I learned it on this forum: Defrost as usual, Sprinkle a healthy coating of baking soda -- YES, BAKING SODA -- on both sides. Let sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse baking soda off completely. Cook as usual. OMG, what a difference. Never dry. Always melts in your mouth. Delish.
