The truth is my tree isn't a winter tree and instead it is a summer tree so you'll have to wait until summer. I've seen you on the San Diego forum so I think you live here so let me know if you want some come summer time as I'm usually swimming in them even though I love guac.
Yup, we're in the same town. Thanks!

They go on sale here 2/$3 regular price $1.99 each for the small. That is all I have ever seen in mid central Indiana. How big are the large ones?

The absolute cheapest here in Perth is $1.75 each now, on special. That's for what we call Shepard Avocado, I don't know if you have those in the US. Hass are out of season now but those are my favourite. These Shepard ones are lighter green on the outside and when they first came out about a month ago, they were selling for $3.69 each! Needless to say, we weren't eating avocado for a while.

On average I'd say they sell for $2.69 each. Our food prices are quite high here. Every time we go to the US, we walk around your supermarkets with our jaws hanging down.

In Scotland I pay about £1 for a small one. In Uganda I paid the equivalent of 5cents for a HUGE one, but often was given them for free.

I usually pay about a buck for one large avocado. I can't remember the exact price so I must say that I'm impressed with your exact totals. I have a feeling that some of you would do quite well on the Price is Right.
