My own homemade hummus is my choice. I don't bother with the pita; I just shovel it down with a big spoon.

I got through the rest of the workday with no feeling of hunger at all. (Pita chips would probably be similar.)
Really? We eat chips and salsa for lunch all the time, IF there's a football game on! I always feel so stuffed I don't want to eat supper at all!
My husband doesn't like hummus, and he can't eat pita, so mine was an easy vote.

Chips and salsa.

If you offered the choice of pita chips and spinach/artichoke dip, I might well change my mind.

But hummus, no thanks. I don't reject it out of hand but I do not prefer it.
