Help! I'm supposed to be taking tomato soup to a small potluck lunch today (6 adults and a bunch of babies), and the soup I made last night is really watery.

I don't have any more tomatoes but I have the ingredients on hand for a broccoli cheese soup - would you try to fix the tomato soup or just whip up the broccoli cheese? We're leaving in 3 hours!

I would add milk to the tomato soup, that's the way we eat it. Cream of tomato soup.

I was going to add cream at the destination but will it thicken it sufficiently? I don't like watery soup!

I didn't have any tomato paste on hand so I just simmered it a little longer then added the cream when we got there. It was a little watery but not as bad as I thought. Thanks for all the help!
