If I was rich I would eat Lion Tacos, just because I can.
Who knows they might taste good. Lions are not endangered and how is eating them any different from a cow?

Is this "exotic" food option, especially when it comes to mammals and more rare reptiles/fish, seen acceptable in the USA? What if this becomes a trend?
Well (!!!) ~ obviously not! It won't become a trend ~ not with people like me around, trust me.

Boca, gaining a rep for exotic tacos, plans lion-meat offering

If it tastes like cat, then chances are, I would not touch it.

Not too sure that offering exotic meats is the best way to contribute to sustainability. It seems to me like it would only encourage poaching/black market activity for the prized meat, and shady dealings involving passing off said meat as "farm-raised," etc. Could well have the reverse effect.

If that were available here I'd eat them. What makes it so disgusting?

Cat is pretty good, actually. Very lean, tender with a good texture......cut with the grain it tends to be stringy.

I have a utmost distain for this type of exotic or whatever food.
I have had a life that brought be into close proximity with Africa Lions and one must remember they are a wild creature they can sometimes be somewhat a "pet".
But, to even consider farm raising or whatever an animal such as this to be eaten is sick.
AND, they are carnivors: meaning they eat meat and there flesh is not what I would what to eat, ever.

What next.
HW..pass the potatoes please
