I picked Trader Joes, but I also do a fair amount of shopping at Costco, depends what I need and how much of it lol. Also Sprouts. I will occasionally do Frys or Safeway for last minute odds and ends or sales. I shop a lot less at Whole Foods now because there really isnt one close by.

Wholefoods! I like being able to get everything I want in terms of natural and/or organic products in one trip. After learning about round-up ready crops and milk with hormones and antibiotics in it, I just can't do non-organic for a lot of foods any more.

H-E-B is not a national company yet, but in the Central, East, and South Texas region they are everywhere. They even have stores in northern Mexico. Its the largest private owned company in Texas and has close to 320 stores.

Out here in the Midwest in IL- I miss Kroger and Trader Joes. Our nearest Kroger is 35 miles away-but is a very small store. Trader Joes about the same distance but in in St Louis.
Locally I have 2 supermarket's Schnuck's which is pretty good and Dierberg's which is a little more upscale.
Can't wait to move back to the east coast

Publix for most items--less than a mile from my house. Whole Foods is my favorite--one of the best in the area is just down the road from my office. I love their fresh produce and meat.
