Sprouts has no organic produce. Was shocked to hear this from a friend who went. Other products were priced well.
Never understood Trader Joes. There is nothing there I can't get at other stores for less, and the one flavor for everything policy is weird. Pumpkin waffles! Pumpkin peanuts! Pumpkin chicken! Pumpkin coffee! Pumpkin soup! Pumpkin muffins! Weird. Been there two or three times and that's it. The coconut oil is fake, too, as the store was cold and the oil was in liquid form, not solid, in the jars.
Whole foods has certain items we can;t get anywhere else, so we shop there every now and again to get those items.
Trader Joe's is often less expensive than some of the other chains around here, I've found. And the pumpkin thing they do is only in the fall, so that's just silly.
They carry certain things that are either better quality or that you don't find at regular supermarkets, especially for vegetarians, and they have some really good frozen foods, so I go there for those things, but I have to say I am not thrilled with Trader Joe's produce.

Their fresh produce varies from... okay... to... not-so-good, in my experience. Many of their produce items are pre-packaged, which does not readily allow for careful selection.
On the topic of TJ's frozen foods, I am a big fan of their frozen Porcini mushrooms (imported from Italy), and their frozen sliced leeks (imported from Belgium). Both of these items are far cheaper than buying "fresh" products, and the convenience of not needing to soak and clean the mushrooms, and not needing to carefully rid the leeks of entrapped sand is really nice.
And, even though they wouldn't be appropriate for a vegetarian, TJ's frozen dinners (imported from France) are of excellent quality. They feature a protein source (fish or chicken), a veg, a "starch", and a very nice sauce. I don't normally buy convenience foods, but when I was slated for jury duty, I stocked-up on some of these dinners. When I was excused from jury duty, I ate one of these frozen dinners each week until I used them up, and I have to say that I really enjoyed them.

Yes, I bought a bag of apples that all had spots and bruises, and some dry oranges. I do like the tri-color grapes they have, but I've got a big produce store in the area all year round and in summer I go to the local farm stand. No need for TJ's packaged produce.
When my girlfriend lived in the 'burbs south of Nashville, the local Whole Foods had an amazingly good black truffle salami. I've tried to buy it in New England. Nope.
Whole Foods bakes a Berry Chantilly cake that is out of this world. It's almost like almond wedding cake with berries between the layers and a light cream cheese icing.
Avocado mayo by Mark Sissons; keto coffee chocolate; chicken liver organic that I use to make fois gras.
