I cannot drink whole milk, so I need to drink Lactaid, which here costs $4.19 per half-gallon.
That's $8.38 per gallon. I can only buy it once in a while. Hello, cow! Thanks for the milk! I love you! Oh! Before I go.....I also wanna thank you for the special mushrooms that you make growing in your crap! They are great! I saw angels and babies!

my last trip to costco i paid 2.79 for a gallon of skim and i believe 3.49 for a gallon of whole milk. i wasnt expecting the regular milk to be that much. if i keep my eye out on the circulars, i should be able to keep it under 3 a gallon. if you go to a supermarket without checking the circulars, you could easily end up paying 4-5 bucks.

We're picky about our milk. They have gallons in the grocery store for between $1.99 and $4ish depending on the brand. The milk at our 7-11 is $3.50 and always sweet and delicious so we buy that instead. We aren't sure if it's high turnover (very fresh milk) or the actual brand they have (Oak Farms).

About 3.79 a gallon here, depending where you go and what dairy brand.

Same as Palenaka--$1.77 here. I saw it as low as $1.69 at Food City once. I don't shop there, though. I'd stick out like a sore thumb
