It's like chicken that has lived in water. Only way that I can describe it.

Somewhat tastes like a chicken, but texturally it's not exactly the same as chicken. Not too bad, tho.

It has a denser consistency than chicken but it is a white meat. As far as taste, I do not think that it tastes like chicken, really. It has it's own flavor, of course, but it is a mild meat flavor - not fishy at all. I have had it breaded and fried as well as cooked with spicy cajun flavorings and it was delicious both ways.

I love exotic meats. I have had kangaroo a couple of times and I really liked it. I have not tried ostrich, which I understand to be yummy.

Dipped in cornmeal and fried it tastes like slightly seagoing chicken, just a tad chewier. Delicious.

If you live in Louisiana just go to the supermarket, by a pack and fry it up.

As far as I've been able to tell, it tastes like whatever you season it with. XD
