The bottled kind is indeed gross.

I like the more watery, less oily kind that some restaurants make from scratch. It is awesome.

At home I make Hidden Valley Ranch Dips packet with a small tub of Light Sour Cream. It is much better (both taste-wise and fat-wise) than the bottled hydrogenated oil type that you get in the jars/bottles. That stuff sucks.

I think you can find a 'noted' study or poll on everything we like nowdays

mixed in. So why wouldnt they eventually do us in, when we were never meant to ingest synthetic materials?

I guess I've just never really acquired a taste for it. It's definitely not my first choice of salad dressings. Now if I only had a choice of ranch or thousand island on a salad, it would be ranch all the way. I don't mind it as vegetable dip occasionally, but that's about it. My youngest son eats it sometimes, on salad, and sometimes which chicken strips. If my only option of dipping sauce was ranch, I'd probably just eat my chicken strips plain. No one else in my house will touch it.

I rarely eat it on salad.

Pizza now...just kidding. Barbecue chicken or "hot wings".

Ranch is awesome 1) on a romaine salad with croutons, bacos, cucumber, and tomato -- add garbanzo beans and I'm even happier -- and 2) with jalapeno poppers or carrot sticks dipped in it .

I also don't understand the people that put ranch on everything, but I get my cravings as above!

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Pizza Hut IMO is prob the best of the chain pizza out there...Domino's isn't too bad but I don't often have it. I would never even think of dipping pizza in ranch sauce, however.

I'm not big on the bottled kind, but it is WONDERFUL made from scratch. Plus you know what you're putting in it!
