Tastes like delicious to me. I can eat it plain it's so yummy! Love lots of it in salsa, or Asian style cole slaw. I also like it chopped over half an avocado with lime juice, salt & pepper.

My husband says it tastes like lemon Pledge. I almost never use it because he dislikes it so much.

My mom, on the other hand, says she wants to roll around in it.

I absolutely love it and to me it tastes like... Cilantro. I think it has a unique taste so I can't really compare it to anything else. I find it very fragrant and flavoursome. I actually use cilantro leaves as a green salad I love it so much !

Love it! Can't say it tastes like anything else. But I think it does enhance salads, salsa and soups. I think it adds a taste of freshness to whatever dish/food it's added to. Salsa without it seems dull to me. I prefer fresh salsa not that stuff on the grocery store shelves but in the salsa in the produce section. Ideally, fresh salsa comes from your garden...prepared and put into the fridge.

I love cilantro! To me, it tastes like a cross between flat-leaf parsley and anise.

I don't taste licorice in it ...that would describe it's seed coriander though. Yet very mild. I like Cilantro in Pico de gallo salsa for use with fajitas. Have had pinto beans with cilantro that was good. It's a very unique taste and hard to describe. Not an abundance of uses for it though! I do have some in the fridge now.

Love it- not sure how do describe it. Very distinct...tangy?

I can see how it is not for everyone, though...like salt and vinegar chips, which I like as well.

I taste the soapiness or tinny-ness that others do too, so I get how they're put off. But I still like it. It has a freshness to me. It's very fragrant. I'd call it grassy and savory. It has a unique aroma, but so has rosemary, thyme, or tarragon. I accept that cilantro has its profile too.

I made albondigas soup just the other day with minced leftover cilantro for the meatballs. (There's one use for leftovers.) When it's cooked in, it's just an additional herb taste and the soapiness for me isn't there at all.
